All services are priced on a sliding scale. Please feel free to choose whichever tier you feel comfortable paying. A sliding scale allows me to keep prices accessible for people who may need it.

From basic earlobe piercings to complex piercing projects, I do (almost) everything!
I will not do piercings that I deem too risky or otherwise unethical (infant earlobes, horizontal or surface tongue piercings, improper jewellery in a fresh piercing, etc). There are always many unpredictable factors that go into successfully healing a piercing, but I will do my best to evaluate the risks and offer you my honest opinion. Just because a piercing may be more difficult to heal, doesn’t necessarily mean I won’t do it, but I will do my best to inform you of the reality so that you can make an informed decision for yourself.

Prices for Piercing Services vary depending on the complexity of the piercing.

Prices DO NOT include jewellery. Jewellery prices are listed further down.

Standard Piercings (which are most piercings that are not listed below) are $40, $45, or $50 each. ($65, $75, or $85 for two.)

Earlobe, Nostril, and Helix Piercings are $25, $30, or $35 each. ($40, $50, or $60 for two.)

Industrial projects (one piece of jewellery going through two or more piercings) start at $65, $75, or $85 and go up depending on complexity.

Microdermals are $55, $60, or $65 each. ($90, $100, or $110 for two.)

Genital Piercings are $80, $85, or $90 each ($120, $130, or $140 for two.)

Discounts for multiple piercings only apply when both piercings are on the same person. If you are getting two piercings of different types, you will still save money.

A parent (or legal guardian) is required to provide consent for any child (under 16) getting pierced, but they are not allowed to manipulate, coerce, shame, or otherwise force their child to get a piercing. Identification for both the child and legal guardian are required for piercings (see section on identification for more information.)

There is no minimum age requirement for earlobe piercings, however my policy is that the person who is getting pierced MUST be able to do the following:

• Communicate to me that they want the piercing, without coaching or pressure.

• Understand that this piercing is THEIR decision, that they may change their mind at ANY TIME during the procedure, and that it is their responsibility to care for their new piercing, as instructed by me, during the 2-6 months that it may take to heal (although grownups can absolutely help with aftercare!)

• Understand that the piercing will HURT briefly (much like a needle from the doctor), but that it will be okay.

• Be able to regulate their emotions reasonably well. It is okay to be afraid, and it is even okay to cry. However, kicking and screaming are not acceptable behaviours and will not be tolerated past one warning.

I WILL NOT PIERCE A CHILD WHO CANNOT MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS!
I have had 4 year olds who were able to meet these requirements and I have had 12 year olds who could not. If you ask me to pierce your infant, I will give you a lecture.

I do not encourage lying to your child about the pain. I find some parents will tell their child that the piercing won’t hurt (whether that comes from a place of wanting to reassure their child, or perhaps misremembering their own childhood piercing experience). Unfortunately that usually sets the child up for failure. Underestimating the pain can make it seem a lot more intense, which makes getting the second ear done a lot harder.
If someone is aware of and anticipating the reality of pain, it is often not as bad as they thought, which will make the whole situation much more likely to end with two pierced ears and a smile. I will not do the second ear if consent has been revoked by the child. If extra time is needed to build up the courage for the second ear, that is okay. I book extra time for children to allow plenty of space for them to process their feelings without feeling rushed.

Consultations are available at no charge, and are especially encouraged for shy or nervous little ones!
A consultation involves meeting me, being introduced to the studio space, an explanation of expected healing times, aftercare instructions, explaining how the procedure will work, and asking any questions that your child (or you) may have. We can also discuss the option of ordering in other colours of jewellery which I may not currently have stocked.
Consultations can help make the actual piercing appointment a lot less stressful. Coming into a new place, meeting a stranger (and I can be quite strange), having a lot of information thrown at you, and THEN getting stabbed?! That can be a lot to deal with, regardless of age!

Please be aware: While children are allowed in the studio, the space is not child-friendly. There are often tattoo artists at work, as well as plenty of breakable or otherwise dangerous objects around the shop that must not be touched. Anyone who is mature and responsible enough to get a piercing should be able to handle keeping their hands to themselves and to not run around. If you must bring other children with you, please make sure that they are able to remain quiet and not wander. If they cannot, you or another adult must remain at the front or outside the shop with the child who needs supervising while your child has their piercing done.

For other (non-earlobe) piercings on minors:
A consultation with both the child and legal guardian will be required to determine the suitability of the piercing. A child who has already demonstrated that they are capable of handling the aftercare involved for a pair of lobes will be more likely to be approved. Generally I would suggest a client be at least 12 or 13 before getting a simple cartilage piercing (like a helix or nostril). More advanced cartilage piercings will require the existance of an already well-healed cartilage piercing.

Industrials and Navels are 15+

Oral piercings are 16+ (and require parent/guardian consent under 18 due to dental risks)

Most piercings are available without parent/guardian consent at 16+, provided the client has appropriate ID and can demonstrate a level of maturity/responsibility needed for the piercing (which is the same requirements I have for adults getting pierced)

Microdermals, Nipples, and Genitals are 18+, no exception.

Piercings are for every body, regardless of shape, size, ethnicity, or gender.
While some piercings may have gendered connotations depending on historical or cultural context, it’s all made up! Get the piercing that makes you happy!

Trans bodies may have some special considerations for certain piercings, especially when hormones and surgeries are involved. Some things to consider:

• Breast growth due to HRT will also change the size and shape of your nipples. Wait until your growth has stabilized before piercing them. (Generally a minimum of 2-3 years)

• Scar tissue needs time to heal and get strong. Wait at least 12 months post-op before getting piercings in areas that you had surgery. Nipple grafts can often be pierced, depending on how the graft has healed.

• Chest binding is a Bad Time for healing nipple piercings, due to pressure and moisture. It should be avoided the entire time it takes your piercing to heal (6-18 months)

• During surgery, you will have to remove all your jewellery (sometimes a surgeon may allow plastic retainers to be worn, but not always). Some piercings (especially ones that haven’t fully healed and matured) can close up very quickly. If you have upcoming surgery plans, you may want to hold off on the piercing until after.

• Hair growth due to Testosterone may interfere with some facial piercings (it’s not the worst, but you may want to think about it while determining eyebrow placement, for example.)

• Hair removal techniques can be irritating to fresh piercings. Be careful and sanitary with whatever method you use. You may find it difficult or impossible to shave right next to a piercing and you may want to use (CLEAN) tweezers or scissors to get those last few hairs. Wait until the piercing is fully healed before getting laser in that area.

I have been on T for over ten years, have had a couple of gender-affirming surgeries, and have a bunch of piercings that you can’t see when I’m wearing clothes. I also have plenty of friends and clients all across the gender spectrum whose experiences I can pull from, when my own personal experience may be lacking.

I offer consultations at no charge. Consultations can be beneficial in determining whether someone has the appropriate anatomy for a certain piercing, identifying potential risks or complications that one may encounter, and for planning long-term projects.

Repeated consultations without any follow-through could result in charges. Please don’t take advantage of my generosity and time.

Having a needle pushed through your skin is only the first step of a successful piercing. Most piercings will require anywhere from 2-18 months to heal. Check-ups and adjustments may be necessary during the healing process. Downsizes are almost always necessary.

I generally recommend the use of a Sterile Isotonic Saline Solution 1-2x a day to rinse your healing piercing. NeilMed makes a saline spray designed for hands-off piercing cleaning that I have available for sale.
Some people may find success in the “leave it alone and rinse it in the shower” method or a combination of the two. Feel free to discuss with me which method(s) may be best for your specific aftercare needs.

I offer troubleshooting and healing advice, and I do not charge for it. If you have issues or concerns with your piercing, let’s talk about it!

I carry a few jewellery brands that I have selected for quality and affordability. Most of the jewellery I keep in stock is ASTM F-136 implant-grade titanium. Other materials and colours are available for custom orders. Check out the links to my jewellery suppliers below for more information.

Installation is included with the purchase of new jewellery from me.

Basic Jewellery installation or removal is priced on a sliding scale and is either $15, $20, or $25. The fee covers multiple pieces as long as they’re on one person.

Advanced installations or removals are $30, $35, or $40. (This includes things like embedded piercings, microdermal removal, genitals, or more than 5 piercings)

MRIs, X-rays, and surgeries: Some medical procedures will require the removal of jewellery. For medical issues, I charge the same as a basic installation/removal fee ($15, $20, or $25) and I do not charge to re-install your jewellery after your procedure. I also have non-metallic retainers available, which can be especially helpful for piercings that are not fully healed or are prone to shrinkage. However, there may be issues with wearing retainers (for example, they really don’t like any jewellery in a surgical setting and may tell you to remove it.)
If there are concerns, we can discuss strategies for protecting your piercings.

Sterilizing jewellery for fresh piercings: If you already have jewellery that you wish to be pierced with, it may be possible. Jewellery for fresh piercings will need to be of an appropriate size and style, be free of damage or defects, and made of a body-safe material. Please refer to the APP’s guidelines for what is considered appropriate, and reach out to me if you have questions. If I am able to use your jewellery, I will require at least 45-60 minutes to process and there will be a $15 sterilization fee.
Internally threaded or threadless components can sometimes be re-used, even if part of the jewellery isn’t suitable for your fresh piercing. For example, you may have a labret stud with a threadless end that was used for your healed earlobe. The post will be too thin and too short for a fresh helix piercing, but the end could be used on a new (appropriately sized) threadless labret. Reach out with details about your jewellery and we can figure out if there are ways to use them and save you a bit of money.

Prices: Jewellery comes in a range of sizes and styles. Generally you will be looking at a starting price of $40 per titainum labret stud. Some piercings can be done with a ring, and those will start at $25 each. Straight barbells typically start at $60, curved and circular barbells start at $65 for internally threaded options, and $40 for threadless options. Price includes basic titanium balls. I do not recommend purchasing new jewellery elsewhere with the intention of getting pierced by me, unless we have discussed it before. Odds are that you will purchase the wrong size or style, and if you are buying quality pieces that are up to my standards, you will probably end up spending more than you would have if you had just purchased from me to begin with.

I do my best to keep my prices low without sacrificing quality or safety. I understand that proper implant-grade materials may feel outside of some people’s budgets, but I generally cannot lower my prices any further than what they already are. I am also invested in your piercing healing successfully, so I will not pierce you with jewellery that does not meet my standards.

A fresh piercing will need extra room for swelling. It is important to replace the longer jewellery with an appropriate size when it’s ready to avoid complications. There is a 50% discount for shorter labrets and barbells when you are ready for them (regular price $20-$40. discounted to $10-$20). Once downsized, you will have your longer jewellery that can be used as a back-up, in case of flare ups, or sterilized again for another piercing!

When I pierce you I will do my best to guess how much extra room you will need, without going too long and increasing your catch-risk. If I underestimate your swelling needs, I offer upsizing (exchanging the jewellery for a longer version) at no charge.

If you have plans for other jewellery after your piercing is healed, let me know and we can discuss a safe timeline for that and potential risks associated with certain jewellery styles. I can also help you find the correct measurements to reduce the odds of you purchasing something inappropriate for your anatomy.
Ideally I would love it if you bought all your jewellery from me and supported my business, but I also want you to know how to safely shop for yourself and have fun with your new hole!

I’m generally pretty chill, but there are a few rules and expectations that I have of my clients.

CONSENT:
Piercings are provided only to people who want them. Consent cannot be given by anyone other than the individual getting the piercing, regardless of who it is. Being under the influence of drugs and alcohol means that you are NOT ABLE to give consent. (If you need or want to, save the fun stuff for AFTER your piercing. Just make sure you’re making safe and wise decisions, especially concerning your new piercing!)

BEHAVIOUR:
I strive to provide a safe and welcoming environment, as do the rest of my studio-mates. I have a very low tolerance for rude behaviour, sexual or physical aggression, dishonesty, and bigotry. Don’t make me make you leave. No one wants that.

IDENTIFICATION:
You must be able to provide one piece of government-issued photo ID (BC services card, driver’s licence, passport, status card, permanent resident card, etc.). Non-Canadian ID can typically be accepted as long as it meets the criteria.

Appropriate ID must be:
-Valid (not expired)
-Issued by some body of government (federal, provincial, territorial, or state)
ID must contain:
-Date of birth
-Legal name (it is alright if the name you go by isn’t the name on your ID)
-A photo*
-A signature

If you do not have a piece of ID that meets all of the requirements, a combination of IDs can be used.

*Identification for minors does not need to have a photo AS LONG AS they have a legal guardian who is signing for them. If your ID does not have a photo (for example, a BC services card issued to someone under 19), then please bring along other ID as well (School ID, gym card, costco card, etc) to combine with it. The names on both pieces must match.

Parents/Guardians who are signing for their child’s piercing are required to provide valid ID for themselves AS WELL AS their child. There must be some way to establish the relationship to your child (parent’s name on the child’s birth certificate, matching addresses on the IDs, court order regarding legal guardianship of said child, etc.). Unfortunately I cannot just take you at your word that this is your child.

If you do not have appropriate ID, or if you have questions about what can be used, reach out to me and we can figure out what we can do about it.

NO-SHOWS, CANCELLATIONS, and LATE policies:
I do not charge for late appointments or no-shows (…yet). Things happen and I understand that. However, I ask that if you are unable to make it, or if you will be running late, that you let me know as soon as you can. Repeated missed or late appointments will result in consequences. I don’t know what exactly they will be, but let’s not find out!

AGE POLICIES:
As outlined under the “Children’s Ear Piercings” section, I do not have a lower age limit for basic earlobes. I only require that the child be able to grasp the reality of what is happening to them and that they understand it is completely their choice.

For non-earlobe piercings on minors, a consultation is required with both the child and parent/guardian to determine suitability. Navel and Industrial piercings are 15+

16 is generally the age at which someone can sign for themselves without parent/guardian permission, with a few exceptions:
Oral piercings are 16+ but require parent/guardian consent under 18 due to very real risks of dental damage.
Microdermal, nipple, and genital piercings are 18+ without exception.
