Jewellery brands available:

Proper body jewellery matters! I primarily use ASTM F-136 implant-grade titanium for most piercings. Titanium contains no nickel, so it is safe for people with sensitivities and allergies, unlike steel. Titanium is also a fraction of the price of gold. Other materials are available to order. Reach out to discuss what metals are right for you!

I do my best to offer high quality craftmanship at affordable rates. Below are the brands I carry. Feel free to check out their stuff and email me for price quotes or questions about ordering, manufacturing, mill certificates, or more.

Getting here:

We are on the corner of Kingsway and Rupert, at #11-3003 Kingsway (right beside Salon Supreme). Please see the maps and images below for our location, parking instructions, highlights of accessibility concerns, and nearby transit stops.

Our parking lot can only be accessed by turning right while heading North West down Kingsway, as there is a median preventing left turns when travelling in the opposite direction. There is no parking lot access from Rupert Street.

There are limited parking stalls available, and we share the parking lot with the other businesses located in the complex. There is one “accessible” stall, and you can read more about the issues with it below.

There is also street parking in the surrounding area, but you should probably double-check the signage before parking.

Driving:

Transit:

We are located a 10-15 minute walk from Joyce Skytrain Station. There are some lovely trees and gardens along these streets. Please be aware that the sidewalks in these neighbourhoods are a little uneven and can be difficult to navigate with a chair/rollator/stroller/etc. and there is a small hill.

The 19 and 26 buses stop very close to the shop.
The 41 and R4 stop is about a 10 minute walk away at 41st Ave and Rupert Street.

Please see the map below for bus stop locations, or consult your favourite Translink trip-planner.

Accessibility:

Unfortunately the building we are in was built in the 80’s and was not designed with consideration for mobility issues or other needs. I have attempted to mark potential concerns on the picture below.

There is a narrow ramp in the parking lot which may be difficult to navigate with wider mobility aids, especially if the bushes are overgrown or if other people park irresponsibly. One parking stall is designated as an “accessible” stall and marked as such, however it is more narrow than the rest of the stalls so it’s, honestly, a little useless. The lower portion of the parking lot is connected by stairs, but you could walk/roll up (just be mindful of cars). Besides the ramp, there are no curb cuts within the complex. You can access the front of the shop from the sidewalk along Kingsway without encountering a curb or step.

The door is manually operated and may be a bit heavy for some folks. Our washroom is also quite small and cannot accommodate a full-sized wheelchair, but it is equipped with a grab bar.

If you have any concerns about accessibility, please reach out and I will make sure that your concerns and needs are addressed and (to the best of my ability) accommodated. I understand that asking for accommodations can be uncomfortable, but please know that I am more than happy to go out of my way to make sure everyone can access my services.
